What If You Had The Only Bible

If you had something very valuable and you found out you were the only one in the world who had it, what would you do?

Well, what if you found out you had the only Bible in the world, what would you do with it? Would you toss it about carelessly, or lay it on the shelf to collect dust?

Of course, you don't have the only Bible. There are millions sold each year, and most homes have several copies of God's Word.

Why do we take the Bible so lightly? Why don't we recognize it as a letter from our Creator and Ruler?

Friends, treasure the Bible and study it daily. "Study to show thyself approved unto God ... rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15).

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against three." (Psalm 119:11). "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105).
