What Does God See?

"The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. " (Proverbs 15:3)
"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings." (Proverbs 5:21)
"Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?' saith the LORD. 'Do not I fill heaven and earth?' saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 23:24)
"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13)
How do these passages affect you? Do they make you comfortable and at ease? Or do they make you uncomfortable and a bit restless? How we answer those questions may tell us much about the condition of our souls. To those who live lives of godliness and righteousness, passages like these are comforting, for the faithful are confident that "...the Lord knoweth them that are his..." (2 Timothy 2:19). But for those whose lives are out of harmony with God's will, these passages can cause no small amount of discomfort. How is it with you?
Dear reader, listen carefully to I Peter 3:12, "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."
